My name is Karter Williams. As both an athlete and a creator, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be for student-athletes to tell their story, showcase their value, and connect with brands in a meaningful way. At the same time, I noticed that brands weren’t getting the full marketing potential that they should from working with athletes.

That’s why I started Blackthorn.

I believe content is the key to unlocking NIL success. Great stories don’t just get told—they get created, captured, and shared in ways that inspire action. That’s where I come in.

With a background in sports media production (highlight reels, event content, social campaigns) and direct experience navigating Notre Dame’s NIL guidelines, I built Blackthorn to bridge the gap between athletes and brands. My goal is simple: create content that works—for both sides.
